You don’t have to spend every second of the day on your mobile device. Here are 31 enjoyable things to do without your phone!
Nowadays, we spend so much time on our phones. We use them to call our friends and family, play games when we’re waiting in the doctor’s office, impulsively book vacations, scroll through social media for hours on end, and so much more.
But let’s be honest: sometimes, our phone use can get a little excessive (and concerning, at that). I think I speak for a lot of us when I say I spend so much time on my phone that I almost forget there are other fun things to do without it. And that’s exactly what inspired this post.
I came up with 31 activities that you can indulge in that don’t require any sort of technology. If you find yourself being on your phone all the time, I hope this post can give you some phone-less activities to try.
Alright, are you ready? Let’s get into it!
THIS POST IS ALL ABOUT things to do without your phone.
Why should you take a break from your phone?
Before we hop into these activities, let me first tell you why should try any of them in the first place. Taking even just a 3-hour break from your phone allows you to:
- Reduce headaches and eye strain
- Partake in a deep conversation with somebody you love
- Avoid comparing yourself to someone on your Instagram feed or TikTok FYP
- Give your thumbs a break from all that speedy scrolling and typing
- Finally mark that task off your to-do list you’ve been avoiding
- Get the rest you deserve after a long day
- Give your body the physical activity it needs to thrive
